This program will look at several rural areas and small towns that have adapted smart growth tools to create plans and codes that facilitate smart growth. It will also describe resources that are available to assist communities.
Dr. Phil Stafford of Indiana University and author of “Elderburbia, Aging with a Sense of Place in America”, will lead a discussion about how Atlanta and surrounding cities and towns can find creative and effective ways to plan for an aging population.
