Planning Administrator | High Point, NC
The Planning Administrator performs difficult professional and administrative work supervising the planning services division of the Planning and Development Department. Work is performed under the general direction of the Planning & Development Director. A few of the Administrator’s duties include supervising the planning services division of the Planning & Development Department; overseeing the comprehensive planning program, including the formation and revision of the comprehensive plan and related
planning concerning the growth and development of the city; and coordinating and evaluating the work of the division staff, monitors their progress and makes changes as needed. Additional duties can be found on the City of High Point’s website.
Key Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in planning, geography, public administration or closely related field with seven (7) years of relevant planning experience or a Master’s degree in planning, geography, public administration or closely related field with five (5) years of relevant planning experience.
Salary & Benefits
$64,174.00 – $87,100.00 Annually
