The Planner position assists in administering planning and development activities for the City.  Major duties include the processing of various development, annexation, and variance applications; the review of subdivision plats; site plan review; assisting the principal planner with updating the City’s comprehensive plan; and in the correction and updating of maps and records. 

A baccalaureate degree in urban planning or a closely related field and at least one to two years of experience in a comparable field are required.  AICP certification is preferred. Click here for more information!
