The GIS Coordinator position is responsible for the administration of the city’s geographic information system (GIS). Job duties consist of varied GIS coordinating duties. Successful performance helps ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of a variety of city operations.
Minimum qualifications include Bachelors’ Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Earth Science, Geography, Engineering, Urban or Community Planning or a related field from an accredited institution; two (2) years of direct hands-on experience in utilizing geographic information systems to create, maintain, analyze data and create applications; experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and other GIS software and applications required; and experience in enterprise GIS and in assigning and maintaining addresses, street centerline files, zoning, and other local government functions preferred. (Projects or internships required to obtain the above-referenced degree may be considered toward required experience.)
Salary | Pay Grade 17: $48,864.09 – $74,352.49 annually
