The Office of Urban Development’s Planning Division is looking to hire our Associate Director of Planning to continue to lead, guide, and motivate our team while helping the community through development processes. This individual will serve as the Planning Director in their absence, will supervise staff, and help implement division-wide operations on an enthusiastic team.
Position requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, Architecture, Public Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field preferred; three years of managerial experience in community planning and zoning, program management, public administration or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Supervisory experience preferred. Membership in American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) preferred. The starting salary is $75,932.51, annually.
