CPAT Community Application
The Alabama Community Planning Assistance Team (AL CPAT) is a volunteer program of the Alabama Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA Alabama). CPAT organizes multidisciplinary teams of planning professionals to work alongside local stakeholders — at no cost to the community — to produce a focused plan and implementation strategy for a well-defined community planning challenge. This application asks you to describe your community’s planning challenge, the stakeholders involved, and your capacity to support the team’s visit. The strongest applications are focused on a single, clearly defined issue — not a broad community plan. Read the full submission checklist on the final page before submitting. APA Alabama will review and respond to all complete applications within approximately 30 days of the submission deadline. Incomplete submissions may be denied without review.
