The nomination period for the Alabama Chapter 2015-2017 Executive Committee election cycle is underway. A prospective nominee shall be a member of AL-APA in good standing and a resident of Alabama. The positions up for election are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, North Section Representative, Central Section Representative, South Section Representative, and Gulf Coast Section Representative. Elected officers will begin term of office on January 1, 2015 and will serve on the Executive Committee for two (2) years. Nominations are due May 16, 2014.

The Alabama Chapter is included in an APA pilot project regarding Chapter Elections. Under the working schedule, the voting period will be during August 2014, with results announced in September 2014. Exact dates will be set before the official election ballot is distributed.
