DESCRIPTION:Let’s Start the Conversation…. \nYou are invited to participate in an important conversation regarding Healthy Foods\, Healthy Economics.   Plan to join the conversation at a one-day free Seminar on September 15\, 2016\, to be held at the AUM Taylor Center\, beginning with registration at 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and the Seminar 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. \nWe plan to discuss how our local food systems can promote healthy local economics; how farm to school programs benefit families and the community; how healthy food systems can impact farmers and produce vendors as well as workforce development; farmer/produce vendor and transportation; learn how you are already an active part in this system…plus much more! \nRegistration is required.  Registration deadline is September 8\, 2016.  You can register online by going to CARPDC.com and clicking the registration link or call (334)262-4300.  Parking information will be provided through the email or address provided in the registration. \nThis Seminar is being provided by the Central Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission and The Wellness Coalition.  Funding made possible from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. \n
