Description

The Planning and Economic Development Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of assigned federal, state, and local programs, grants, and contracts and ensures that all activities are carried out in a timely manner and in compliance with the appropriate administrative regulations. The candidate will also conduct the following duties: collects and organizes data; writes and reviews technical reports; maintains records and files of grants and contracts; communicates with local governments regarding grants and contracts; consults with other development agencies, business and government leaders, to initiate projects and programs to enhance the regional economy; and participates in national, state, and local economic and community development networks. Writes grant applications for LRCOG and member governments.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Band 3: Starts at $46,200 annually.
